slacklining near the beach. the people was very interested and also did some trials.

i booked an excursion with an 1350hp motorboat and we drove to the hole in rock. thats a nice fast trip.

the boatsman is a little bit crazy because he did in the cave a turning with not more than 2m space every side.

than i got off in russel. because thats a very nice place to visit.

thats the oldest church in new zealnd. it is located on russel. u can only come there with a ferry.

this a view to the wharf of russel.

in the afternoon i visited the waitangi museum. thats a very historc place. in 1840 the maori signed a contract with the government of england.
the parlour in the british residency part of the treaty house, showing mannequin of james busby seated.

thats the 'te whare runanga' this meeting house was openend during the treaty centenary celebrations in 1940.

the unique whare runanga at waitangi contains carvings representing some north island major maori tribal groupings.

thats the treaty house from the english people.

ngatokimatawhaorua was made from three massive kauri trees felled in the puketi forest. it is a larger version of the waka (canoe) that carried visiting and raiding parties on long coastal voyages, before and after the first european settlers arrived.

there u can also find some nice forrest in the park.
